Brittany has a range of Natura 2000 natural protected areas thats biological wealth helps us preserve biodiversity on the territory.

The Faouët region will enchant you with its large aray of rivers, lakes, ponds and streams

Our fishing friends can practice their leisure in the "Ellé" river, the "Inam" river, the "Le Scorff" river, the "Isole" river,
the "Le Moulin du Duc" stream, the "Aër" river, the "Priziac" lake, the pond in Langonnet, the pond in Plouray, the pond in Langoëlan....
a few kilometers from our bed and breakfast.

The 60 km long river begins its course at Glomel in the « Côtes d’Armor » and travels through countryside landscapes and vallons in the western part.
Its affluent the Inam river travels 35km from Gourin Lanvénégen to The Faouët. The « Ellé » river flows into the « Isole » river at Quimperlé in the southern part of the Finistère region.
The former campsite of Le Faouët used to welcome anglers from all parts of France and abroad. Le Faouët is renowned for its angling activities. Visitors can enjoy the fish-packed « Ellé » river considered as one of the most beautiful first category rivers in the department of Morbihan. (Atlantic salmon, trout and other species).

In April 2022, the DEPARTMENTAL FEDERATION OF MORBIHAN (56) DE PÊCHE labeled us as FISHING accommodation.

Fishermen benefit from a corner fitted out in our cellar where a so-called summer kitchen has been created at garden level.
We provide so that fishermen have good conditions to fish:
- An aquarium for the lively
- a fridge for fishing
- a water point since it is a kitchen
- enough to dry boots, wading shoes, fishing boots, fishing waders and fishing waders.
- a place to store fishing rods

At Le Faouët, at the Bar "Au pied de Sainte-Barbe", at the place called Grand Pont, on the banks of the river L'ELLE, any fisherman will find: fishing tackle permission available.

And we remain attentive so that you benefit from good comfort during your stay.

For hunters

Our forests are also rich in game (wild boars, deers, hares, partridges, pheasants…)

Huntings beats are regularly organized by the municipal hunting society of Le Faouët in order to regulate the game population and keep the ecosystem in balance..
It will be our pleasure to welcome our hunting guests and share their hunting feats during simple and relaxing evenings.
